Lounge chair Luc is the renewed version of his older sister Juul. The Juul series by Apple Bee has been the inspiration source for the Luc series. The frame of the Luc Lounstezel is made entirely of teak. Teak wood is incredibly strong, very suitable for outdoor use and can remain outside all year round. The session of the Luc Lounstezel is made of braided plastic. Because of the way in which the plastic is braided, this is still something with the body that ensures a lot of comfort without extra pillow. To offer you that extra bit of comfort, Apple Bee also offers a Luc footstool, so you can sit down with your legs up after a long day!
maintenance
In the fall/winter period we recommend that you save the Luc series dry . This is due to the how much leaf fall and the high humidity in these months. In addition, it is not good to cover the teak with a cover in the winter period. Because the wood keeps breathing under a cover, the rain and/or leaf fall that remains on it will ensure that the moisture can no longer be left. This causes condensation under the cover and will cause damage to the wood.
teak wood is a natural product and will expand the wood and shrink through the humidity. This means that there are (small) hairline cracks and possibly some curvature of the shelves. You can use a teak shield to protect the wood. As a result, the aging of the wood will continue, but protect the wood against weather influences and other dirt.
