The covers of the lounge cushions are made of Sunbrella fabric. Sunbrella is a water and dirt-repellent fabric with a very high color authenticity. This means that the cushions will hardly discolour in prolonged exposure to UV rays. All this ensures that you will enjoy the lounge cushions for a long time.

As you can see, dust groups 1-2 and 3-4 are indicated. Which simply means that dust group 3-4 per linear meter is more expensive. The Daylounge series is made of a-quality plantation teak wood. A quality teak wood contains no Spinthwood (young teak) and knots. Spinthwood can cause the wood to absorb moisture so that can easily form rot and mold in the wood. Modesting can cause considerable cracks, although this does not always have to be the case or to do something about the quality of the wood.

The long service life of the Daylounge lounge set is in the hardness and water resistance of the teak. The oil in the teak ensures that you can leave the lounge set outside all year round without the wood rot. The teak can work, this is normal and won't hurt. The wood turns off because of the rain, and due to the heat it shrinks again. If the teak starts working, cracks can occur in the headhout. Maintenance

all Sunbrella fabrics are specially treated so that they are water and dirt-repellent so that stains do not adhere quickly and can easily be removed. All Sunbrella covers can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees. If there are stubborn stains in it, this can be cleaned with bleach. Use 50 ml bleach on 1 liter of water.

Maintenance

All garden furniture from Garden Teak can remain outside all year round. This also applies to the Daylounge lounge set. Just like almost all other teak garden furniture from Garden Teak, the Daylounge Lounge Set is also made entirely of a quality teak. A Quality teak is very durable and is incredibly strong and suitable for leaving outside all year round. Does this bring a lot of maintenance? Many people also think they have a lot of maintenance on garden furniture with teak. Fortunately this is not so bad. All teak garden furniture can simply remain outside even without maintenance. The teak contains so much oil of itself, which makes the wood very strong and is resistant to different weather conditions. If you do not maintain the wood, it will eventually agree slowly. This has to do with the oil that slowly pulls out of the top layer. This does not detract from the quality of the teak. The oil is simply held in the layers below. This also means that when the wood is sanded, the warm color of the wood comes forward again.

However, we recommend some maintenance. We recommend cleaning garden furniture at least 1 to 2 times a year in any case. This is possible with green soap or teak cleaner for more stubborn dirt.

In addition to cleaning the Daylounge lounge set, there are also other options for maintaining the wood. For example, the wood can be treated with a teak protector that will ensure that the warm color of the wood is preserved. Teak Protector is a slightly colored water -based liquid that you can easily apply to the wood with the supplied cloth. Be careful with clothing and leaks on the garden tiles. After this you can still choose to treat the wood with a teak shield. Teak Shield is the most powerful and optimal working protection for your teak garden furniture. With this you ensure that the teak is water and dirt repellent and also protects against fungi. Teak Shield can also be used without the Teak Protector. The wood will then slowly agree. We recommend treating the woodwork 1 to twice a year for optimum operation. The layers will eventually wear out and must then be re -applied. Always make sure that when you opt for both color retention and protection, you always start with the teak protector (color protection) and then teak shield (protection).
