** The difference in the length of the extension sets with the basic sets is because when the gazebo on one side is an extension, the part next to it is directly connected and therefore no frame work is required on the side of the side. As a result - in other words in connection with the size of the uprights and beam - the total lengths of the expansion sets are 11 cm less wide than the total lengths of the basic sets.

The Alvaro patio roof is the new design of Suns. In addition to the Maranza and the Rota there are some differences in this.

Below the differences between the Alvaro, Maranza and the Rota:

• The Maranza has a height of 230, the Rota and Alvaro have a height of 250 cm
• The shutters (roof) of the Maranza are placed horizontally and at Rota and Alvaro these have been placed
• The shutters of the Alvaro and Rota can be opened 90 degrees and with the Maranza this is 75 degrees
• The Alvaro roofs can be linked with the extensions sets, with the Rota and Maranza these are standard sizes
• The slats aluminum screens and the luxury curtains are available at the Alvaro. With the Maranza, slats, standard curtains and the luxury curtains* are available, only the luxury curtains* are available at the Rota

*The difference between the standard curtains and the luxury curtains are that the luxury curtains are thicker of quality, these prevent more rain impact (mist) and wind then the standard curtains. Because the Alvaro patio roof can be extended with the extensions sets with 300 cm or 394 cm, you can create your own large terrace covering. Because of these versions, this terrace covering fits into any garden. There is also the possibility to close the side and rear walls with aluminum walls/shutters.

The Alvaro patio roof has flexible roof shutters, with which you can regulate the sunlight and it is possible to open it at 90 degrees. This patio roof is weather -resistant and with the flexible shutters that serve as a roof, you are dry in the rain and if you open the shutters open in the sun! The operation for open and closed the shutters is manually and light at the Rota, so no hassle with electricity for this patio roof!

The Alvaro patio roof is available in 2 different lengths namely the 300 cm and the 394 cm. The width size is standard 363 cm. This also applies to the height of the terrace covering of 250 cm, which is not adjustable. Do you prefer to be out of the wind, in the shade or do you want to sit dry when it rains? With the Alvaro this is no problem!

Material

The Alvaro patio roof is made entirely of powder -coated aluminum. With powder coating, a protective coating (paint) is applied to the aluminum in a powder form, which considerably extends the life of the aluminum.

The roof is available in the 2 colors:

• Matt Royal Gray (Mat Gray)
• Matt white (matt white)

Of course the Alvaro is just like the rest of his family waterproof! But make sure that the shutters are completely closed;) The drainage system of the rainwater that ends up on the roof runs along the integrated gutter in the posts. There are small recesses at the bottom of the posts so that the water can flow away. Here you see nothing of the beautiful caps that are placed over it. We do not recommend that you open the slats immediately after a heavy mood. Give the water the chance to flow away and let the last drops dry. Also note that in the case of leaf trap in the season, the gutters are kept well clean.

If a snow shower falls, the roof of the Alvaro can wear 150 kg per square meter. We do advise you to keep the shutter open during snowfall, so that most can just fall through.

The terrace covering is very easy to clean. A garden hose and a soft brush or sponge is enough! Due to the powder -coated aluminum, dirt cannot adhere and/or withdraw and the Alvaro is so clean!

Montage

Do you want to mount the Alvaro yourself, or have it installed?

The terrace covering is supplied as a kit and with a clear building instruction, so that you can also get started with it yourself. If you are not that handy, a team is ready at Suns to place the Rota. This includes an additional price that differs per size. It is important to know that the Suns service team mounts the terrace roof and that this can only be placed in the Netherlands. Unfortunately this does not apply to other European countries.

Preparation

Before the Alvaro can be placed it is important that it can be anchored in the ground. For this you need to make some preparation yourself by placing concrete pages in the right place. What the precise dimensions are for this differs per size. You can easily request these sizes from us by mail, then send the correct document!

Due to its solid construction, the Alvaro patio roof can be placed separately in every garden or on any roof terrace. If you have a roof terrace, think about how you are going to attach the Rota patio roof (concrete pages will not work on a roof terrace, namely). The service team that places the patio roof does not confirm the roof to the house.
